Q. I am a good person. Do I need to be saved to get to haven?
A. Yes, you need to be saved in order to get to Heaven. Heaven is not a place you deserve nor a place you can enter by your own effort and by your own good deeds. No matter how good you are, your own righteousness is like a filthy garment before God. This is where Jesus comes in. He is Holy and Sinless, only those who have received Jesus as their Lord and Savior are clothed with garments of Salvation. As they walk with Jesus, they are transformed into His nature. He wraps them with a robe of righteousness. These will enter Heaven because they have been washed by the blood of Jesus - They have been made Spotless, Righteous; they have been Forgiven and are called the Redeemed.
- A highway will be
there, a roadway, And it will be called the Highway of Holiness. The
unclean will not travel on it, But it will be for him who walks that way, And
fools will not wander on it. (Isaiah 35:8)
- Truly, truly, I say
to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which
is born of the Spirit is spirit. "Do not be amazed that I said to
you, 'You must be born again.' (John 3:5-7)
"For
whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty
of all. For He who said, DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY," also
said, DO NOT COMMIT MURDER." Now if you do not commit adultery, but do
commit murder, you have become a transgressor of the law."
James 2:10-11
Q. If God is good why does He send people to hell?
A. The sin that someone chooses to cooperate with
is what send them to hell. It is God's
nature, He does not dwell where sin is. Isaiah 59: 1-2 declares : "Behold,
(1) the LORD'S hand is not so
short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so
dull That it cannot hear.2
But your iniquities have made a
separation between you and your God, And your sins have
hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.
Plus, God is a righteous Judge - He will make sure sin is judged. He will judge the world with righteousness And the peoples with equity
Q. I don't believe in hell
Why then do you do good? Repent, otherwise you will believe when you get there.
Q. What about Healing? Does God heal every sickness
Healing consists of what you believe in. To those who believe God heals some, He heals some; To those who believe He heals all sickness, He heals them all. This consists purely of faith. When I look at the Ministry of Jesus, I don't see anyone they brought to Him sick and left unhealed. Besides, the Word of God says "Nothing is impossible with God," He surely can heal them all."
